Liesl was our first Bernese Mountain Dog and joined our family in June 1979.
She was my introduction into the wonderful world of dogs and dog world and opened many doors to some lifelong friendships and associations. With her we were very active in the San Francisco Bay Berners club and attended many of their activities.
Liesl died in 1987 at the age of 7 of lymphosarcoma.
